It's Party Time
On Tuesday we had our last day of class until the new year. That sounds so strange to even say! However, it is the truth. I still can not even believe that it is December. I need to snap out of it, because it is about to be 2012!!!
Below are some pictures of our party. Thank you to all the parents who came to help set up and make our party happen! It was a hit!
Before the party we finished one last language activity. So cute and a little funny to see how each child would decorate their Christmas tree.

Polar Express Day
I do love showing up to work in my PJ's!! This might be my favorite day of the year!!! On Polar Express Day we read The Polar Express. We talked about the award the book won ( Caldicott). This book won the award for best pictures the year it was written. After we read the book we drank lots and I do mean lots of chocolate milk. I even had to have a cup!!! We also decorated and ate cookies. Another fun sugar filled day :)

Christmas Crafts
I know that I sent everything home yesterday, but this post is for the teachers that follow my blog and for all the grandparents that what to see what we do. I hope you enjoy looking at these. Lot's of love and fun went into making each one. Merry Christmas!!!
I love to decorate a tree. This year we did just that!!! Once we were done you could not even see the pine needles. So cute!
Everyone did such a great job on the family stocking project!!! I love how creative every family was!!!
As we approached Christmas, we talked all about shapes. These two activities were not just crafts....they served as a teaching tool. I love a duel activity!! Bonus***** Super cute fridge art!!!!
We might have gone a little reindeer crazy.......but in a good way!!! Love these Pinterest finds!!!
With all the Elf on the Shelf craze I decided we would make our own. Although these were not magic elves, they sure looked good in our hall. I saw this idea on Pinterest and decided to change it up a bit and make it my own. I think your children did an amazing job on these!!
